FAQ
How Do I Place An Order?
Contact me and we'll go over all the details as far as sizing for the canes and such...
Payment and Shipping
My Canes and Hiking Sticks are typically priced at $35.00 U.S.
That can vary some moreso on the hiking sticks depending on the details involved and how much leather work might be wanted on it.
Pricing on any other carvings will vary depending on the carving and the complexity of the carving.
I always suggest contacting me and discussing ALL details of exactly what it is that you want on your item before I start the work.
PAYMENT - If you decide you would like to purchase a carving please contact me to confirm total cost. I can not accept credit cards at the present time but payment can be made by check or money order or I prefer PayPal. The carving will ship when payment is received.
PACKAGING/SHIPPING- I prefer shipping by the U.S. Postal service. I only charge a general fee to cover the cost of the package or container the carving is shipped in and any packaging materials used, and then the shipping cost.
I will give you a specific cost of the carving and a shipping cost (based on the USPS website) as soon as possible.

How to measure for a cane or walking stick
To determine the length of a cane without a cane available.
(It takes two people to "fit" a cane)
1. Put on your usual walking shoes.
2. Stand in your natural upright walking position
3. Let the arms hang to the sides naturally with a normal bend at the elbow. (NOTE: do not force the arm down completely straight.)
4. Using a tape measure or yard stick, have the second person measure the distance from the wrist joint down to the floor.
PLEASE REMEMBER, MY CANES CAN BE SHORTENED BUT THEY CANNOT BE LENGTHENED.
Walking or Hiking Stick
You can determine the length of your stick by holding a broom handle at a comfortable height and measuring from the floor to the top of your hand. This will be the height of the stick to the top of the hand grip. There will be approximately 5" of carving above the top of the hand grip.
